Has some finish marks visible in the pictures. The glass looks perfect to me.
This lens is sharp as a tack. The previous owner said that on his D700 "When the lens came back there still was the same little vibration in the lens if you rack it all the way out and then focus close." He sent the lens to Sigma and then sold it. I have not had that problem on my camera but I shoot a D7000.
