Had a frosty start yesterday morning - well in the front garden at least (but not in the back). First 3 shots are fous stacks- last shot is a single shot. Think I prefer that to the stacked version.

I agree that the last one has the best balance of aesthetic and detail. It could use a contrast boost, though. It's a bit hard to focus on the detail. I'd unsharp mask, possibly bump the exposure slightly if the mask doesn't bump the highlights enough, and then I think it's set. It'll match the feel of the clarity of #3 but have the nicer aesthetic of the shallow DOF.

i agree on the last frame, i have just stacked a frozen drop and purpously blurred the back parts to make single crystals near the front stand out better!
