I took a hike with my son through Point Lobos last weekend. It was a beautiful winter's day. We even saw gray whales cruising by the point. Here are a few shots from the hike. In the first two the sun was bursting through the cypress trees and coastal mist in the late afternoon.

Great stuff. It must have been a beautiful day for a hike in this part of the world, can't believe you got to see gray whales!

Thanks guys, it was a fun time and the mist through the trees was a nice surprise. I don't normally see that there.

Very nice series, I like the blue orange color compliments in your ocean shots, and the sun rays are excellent.
