Not sure whether this street portrait works or not.

I would delete it if the girl in the scarf is the subject, way OOF.

Yes, I know that, but for some reason I keep coming back to it anyway. headscratch.gif

There's almost a ghostly quality to the girl. It's as if there is an adult emerging from her, and she is turning away hiding. Very strange. I like it, as is. Disappointing about the focus, though.

Richard, on my monitor the scarf and knit cap look radioactive. Love the shot though.

I like the subject girl a lot, and don't mind the OOF at all. The magenta on the scarf and the cap looks way too "painted" though for my taste. And I wish the second girl looking away wasn't in the shot.

I'm a sucker for "burka" shots. If it was mine, I would go in and turn down the magenta slightly, to take some of the pop from the purple, without robbing the skintones (by desaturating whole image), and bring her eyes up, whites of them and sharpness. I'm not sure about the hands, they seem awkwardly placed, like she is showing you how cold they are?

Thanks for the feedback, everybody. I had already reduced the luminosity of the magenta, but taking the saturation down did help some. thumb.gif
