Wanted to get out to Shaver Lake before they start filling it again this spring. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until I got home that my 300mm f/4L IS lens didn't focus properly. I was hoping to crop them a bit more, but that isn't going to work now.

The last shot is the original 1900's dam and spillway.
For the web, it's fine. Zooming in to 100% and it is definitely not in focus. I made some test shots this afternoon and confirmed it. My 70-200 + 1.4tc is crystal clear, the 300mm is not. :cry
