I just noticed my custom link shortener is not working. Is it SM or bit.ly? How can I tell?

You can check which link shortener you are using by going to the settings tab of your control panel. It's under social settings near the bottom of the screen, please see this screen grab:

You are using bit.ly. You can switch to using our link shortener in this setting, if you wish?
I thought maybe it was because of the SOPA shutdown yesterday, but it's still incorrect.

Hi Andy, Is there a way to shorten the link without losing my domain name?
I hope to retain LightBandit.net or part of it, and not seeing smu.gs or bit.ly
Thanks.

You should be able to do this by signing up for a bit.ly account and then setting up a domain for it. Once you have the domain set up, you should be able to add your bit.ly api key in the SmugMug account settings > discovery > sharing > bit.ly Pro account section.
