    :DIt doesn't look like you having much luck with snow on that side of the world this year either! Nice collection. By the way, I'm stealing your term "microscapes"

    thanks, Colin. we're actually in the midst of a "snow event" as they call it here... got some snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, followed by a bit of melting, then freezing rain last night, and more snow today. it's nowhere near the amount of snow other places get, but the ice and the hills in this area make for some 'interesting' travel conditions!

    Nice eye for capturing these little treasures. A bit longer shutter in the second one may have been interesting.
