One of my personal bucket list shots is Horseshoe Bend in Page AZ. I was flying home last week and the pilot announced Page AZ on the left! I was sittting on the correct side of the plane and had a window seat. Grabbed my camera and shot a couple out the window.

Does this count?

And the famous Horseshoe Bend:

Oh yeah, that totally counts. That first one shows Page, the Glen Canyon Dam, some of Lake Powell, and Horseshoe Bend all in the same picture. Awesome!! clap.gif

While not a wall hanger it does a nice job of putting the river, city, etc in perspective. After looking at your image I can see some real photo ops upriver from Horse Shoe Bend.

Very interesting views that give me a perspective new to me. What are those two built-up areas near the top of the scene....one looks to have a marina involved and the other ( further to the left ) looks to be a small community?

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

thumb.gif Very interesting perspective of Page and Horseshoe Bend. Definitely different than any shots I have of Horseshoe.

I am not quite interested in exploring the ridge to the North of Horseshoe after seeing your shots. Just what I needed- more places in Page to photograph. eek7.gif

The first area heading North if Wahweap Marina. The other area a little to the North and West is a housing development called Greenehaven. Some very nice homes in that area with views of Lake Powell.
