Hi all. Back from a two day trip to Death Valley. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and raining during my time there. Did manage to sneak in a couple of decent shots. Thanks for looking.

Oh yeah, looks like you really struggled to find your muse! I love the the beautiful, subtle tones in the black and white image of the dunes. Many digital new-comers are wont to push every shadow in their bnws into black oblivion. Sublime without being theatrical and they hold the viewers eye much longer for that reason.

I must agree the first two are really nice. While rain and overcast sky's do present a dull flat landscape, when the sun finally peaks through it can be amazing.

Very very nice. All of them. The first is clearly the most popular and for good reason. Other favorites of mine are the last one (great and very unusual perspective; love this one) and, well, the last three are great. Nice work.

Thanks for the great feedback guys. I really appreciate it. Initially I was a little upset about the clouds and rain, but I did learn that there is always a photographic opportunity, no matter how the weather turns out.
