A Couple of Birds In Flight with New Lens

I just received a new-to-me lens, a Tele-Takumar 300mm F6.3 Preset (12 aperture blades) I won it for $89.00. This is a ~50 year old lens, but the build quality and condition is outstanding. I'm kind of on a Preset Binge lately
Here are a couple of quick sample images from it. These are nothing at all spectacular. I didn't get any wildlife photos yesturday since it was snowing/blizzard in the high country while out camping (made for an interesting night ).
These were just shot today out at a local park. Winds were extremely strong, so no birds were roosting, mostly flying around. All were shot wide open and weren't cropped.

So far, with very little use, I can see that I'm going to like this lens a lot! Colors are outstanding and the sharpness seems to be nearly up with my favorite lens, the Takumar 200mm F3.5 Preset. Hopefully next weekend's weather will cooperate and I'll get some close in wildlife photography with this lens.
Here is the lens next two my two other Takumar Telephoto Presets, the Tele-Takumar 200mm F5.6 Preset (10 blades), and Takumar 200mm F3.5 Preset (18 blades)

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
