Great shot, Dan. That landscape looks to be a little difficult to get around in.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Wow Dan - that looks other worldly. You sure caught the colors. This is something for the wall - IMHO. Did you sprain an ankle getting around? ;)

great balance of the sky and reflections Dan. Those lakes offer a lot of opportunities.

Incredible colors. You really picked a great composition to bring them out. There is a nice similarity in the surfaces and shapes of the rocks and clouds. Very nice indeed.:D

Thanks Eia, but my hall of narcissm is running out of wall space rolleyes1.gif There was some boulder hopping involved, but not bad.

I have yet to print on canvas. I love the framed metal prints from Bay, but they are quite expensive. I usually wait for a discount coupon before ordering.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments :D I'd love to go back there and get a shot with snow on the dells.

Pretty high expectations. As having lived in that area for 13 years I can tell you it doesn't snow often and when it does it melts fast. deal.gif

I almost prefer this one! It's not as in-your-face and so the mood feels stronger. Just wonderful light.

Good job Daniel. I like them both. Did you use any lens filter for them?

although the colors of the first one are so incredibly rich I prefer this second one also. The landscape is just so unusual that it deserves it's name on the marquee as the costar along side of the sky. Just beautiful!
