spent a few hours shooting springy things
found 2 new species of globular in garden .

#1 Calvatomina nr superba approx 1mm, a newly introduced species from new zealand!
#2 D saundersi 2mm
#3 Dicyrtomina minuta AS SHOT X5 MAG 5D2 note the newly sheded skin this species is TINY!
#4 Dicyrtomina minuta AS SHOT X5 MAG 450D which makes it less than 1mm!
#5 crop from 450d image So Cute! note big head size presumably from just shedding skin
#6 D Saundersi a big one at 2mm

Btw did you notice they all have hairy bottoms except for the last one

josie - i find them under bark in garden, just carry a piece and place on patio steps and they hop off onto the stone step, i try to get them to walk along the edge so i can get a nice low angle to shoot from!
ps i dont go around looking at hairy bottoms rofl
