A friend and I wandered around downtown St Paul today.
It was a dull, grey day, so the colors aren't really popping in these.

Canon 300D with a Tamron 18-200 DI lens.

On Harriet Island

Golly you got some great angles to do your photos, I like how you were able to get above the row boats and shoot on an angle, I like all your shots in this series, and the very memorable one of Lucy and her Friend from Peanuts :D

    Thanks Skippy.

The boats were set up for cleaning right under a bridge that goes over the
Mississippi river, and their club house. This bridge has a stairway to get
from the island to the bridge. We took some shots from the stairway, but
they just didn't look that interesting.

My wife really liked the Lucy and Linus shot. She saw right away that all
of the lines in the background lead to their heads. For this one, all I did was
hold the camera down by my feet, point and shoot. Like I say, sometimes
    you just get lucky.

    Thanks again.
