Finally got one of these, they are great but I think I will still look into a slider. You essentially still need to make some sort of track for it to handle uneven ground to get nice smooth shots.

    Nice! Cute kid. You managed to get some smooth shots with that thing. No rails, just rolls on the ground?

    Thanks :) thats my little boy and my favorite subject heheh. some shots was it just rolling on the ground/plywood sheet I threwd down and a couple I used a rail system I built for it.. here is a pic with my 7d mounted on it.

    Those things are pretty cool. I think you'd definitely benefit from a slider though for that type of use. I have a 1.5m Glidetrack Hybrid and love it. Good work though. I like your music too.

    Cool test video of your son. I was thinking of the same thing but using skateboard wheels, $90 for a set, a little to pricey. I love the wheels you are using and your set up. Where did you get the wheels at? For the rail system I was thinking of using a PVC pipe . So if the wheels are 1/2" either a 1/2" or 3/4" pipe cut in half. Thanks for sharing. Peace
