The Snipe and Piper (sounds like a pub)
It's getting harder to find my featherd friends around this area, that is until the big Owls return and belive me I can't wait.I dont think ive posted any of my shore bird shots from this summer so I thought what the heck, although I woulden't exactly call the spot's were I shot them a shore .
Hope you like this kind of bird,I dont see to many so they are a bit of a novelty to me.I also get a chuckle out of watching their heads bob up and down while the rest of the body stays motionless......ice

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
sweet birds!

Either you had some good boots or a long lens for this one. Very nice.
Those are really nice crisp clean shots. Kinda groady water though!
The geese are still in the field and on the riverbank, and on Monday I had two does walk through the backyard at dusk. I'm certain I have an owl nearby too - my son says he's seen it flying, and at night I can hear a gentle 'hooooot'.
When the 'big owls' come your way, give me a shout, okay?
