Northern Harrier with Coot

You often see Northern Harriers swooping over the marshes and capturing small birds like sparrows, but they also prey on larger birds. Here is one that captured a Coot at the Viera Wetlands. Not much left but feathers......

    One of my favorite birds of prey Ira!!! I watch them hunt ducks up here and boy it something to see when they bang into them at high speed!!! Thanks for sharing , I won't see them up here for another few months.
