Cactus ~ Mountains ~ Sky

Usually clouds make for a great sky but the sunset caused the sky to look a bit warm and glow-y. I almost want to crop this to a square to include the saguaro but the lack of sky color then seems to take away? CC always appreciated!

Hi Eia- This is a nice shot. Although the sky does have an interesting color, personally I think there's too much of it showing (since it is cloudless.)

I'm also not liking the softness of the foreground shrubbery. What I would do with this shot is crop the bottom up to the point of just below the Saguaro tops that are peeking up in the right-side foreground. Then I would crop about half of the sky out.

Hmmm...is that Saguaro on the far left growing up out of a mine shaft or what?

Hi Eia, I really like the colour combinations in this shot - as well as the composition and lighting - a tighter crop top and bottom would make a lovely pano wall hanging.

Eia, this is a fine shot. I also think less sky would help. Unlike Art, I like the soft foreground shrubbery.
