I like these and how well the subject stands out in the frame. Are these 16:9 ratio?
Kinda cool on a large widescreen display....
I see that you're using that large light source octa :D

    Hi Travis,

Been following your stuff on flickr. Ran in to you via a web search a few months ago. Think I was searching for holga shots or something. I enjoy your style. What I love most, honestly, is the fact that you have access to this subject matter and can approach it in the way that you do. I sincerely hope you recognize the unique position you are in. Not many get recognized at your age in the way that you have. You've got talent, and access to one of the hardest subject areas to get in to. Rare combination. I hope you plan to shoot like mad, documenting the people around you. Please keep posting your work here.
Please feel free to post any reworks you do of my images. Crop, skew, munge, edit, share.

All lovely, but that first one is exceptional - dead-on depth of field, beautiful lighting and processing, and fabulous skintones. Add the engaged, compelling expression that just draws the viewer in and that is one GREAT shot. thumb.gif

Nice work. The 2 really tight shots (1 and 4) are my favorites. You've captured a lot of personality.
