HI

I'm new to this site and enjoy reading all the threads. I would like to know if someone can tell me how I can take shots of the night sky? Northern Lights to be specific. Any/all feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance

Tripod. Long exposures do not really work with the sky because there is imperceptible movement up there. So try to get a short enough shutter speed, set your lens to hyperfocal distance, or infinity, and use the mirror up mode and a cable release. You will get it!
