I did a family portrait session for my friend with their new born and here are couple of images that I liked. I didnot do anything specific to "Newborn" theme as I'm not yet ready to shoot newborn.

This one is my favorite from whole set

Black and white of just the baby and #9 are the stand outs for me!! Wow what big eyes he has :) Some of the others seem a tad dark to me, if you could lighten the far side of the little girl's face we could really see her beauty shine. Her skin is devine, lovely, just lovely.

Thanks for your comments, it was done using all natural light. Yes baby is with pretty big eyes :). Will post more once I get around doing second round of shoot as baby decided not to sleep thruout shoot. I'll try to up the brightness bit on ones that looks bit dark.

Very nice set. #9, however, is a bit odd to me. The baby is lying down but the picture is vertical...I assume you rotated the photo because the perspective looked odd if you left it landscape. But if you were to get down to baby level and shoot horizontally, you won't find that you need to turn it vertical to make the perspective look right.

Thanks for your comments, Yep picture was taken in landscape but due to angle of shot it felt bit odd in lanscape format, here is original in landscape format. :)
