Need Help Removing an External Link to a Private Gallery

Ok. I posted some images to a photography forum and I decided to take them down because they are not watermarked well enough. The photos were in a unlisted gallery http://www.4k-photography.com/Other/Private/11324816_4kHdL5#!i=795074289&k=k9TzQ I used the get a link option and posted on the site within a thread. I can not delete the images within the thread and decided I would just delete them from the folder and that would stop visitors of the forum thread from being able to see them. That didnt work, they still show up. I killed the share option of the gallery and that did not stop it. I tried everything I could find in the search section but it still allows the images to be viewed even though I deleted the images from the gallery.

Nevermind. I had the forum pull down the thread

If you've linked to an image and want to stop it from being viewed ever again, delete that image from the gallery and re-upload it. It will still appear in the gallery like normal when looking at the gallery, but because it is technically a different image in SM's system, nothing will be linked to it. And since the old image is deleted, once the change is replicated throughout the SM content delivery network, it will be gone permanently.
