It's been a long time, so I thought since I've got a moment, I'd post an update pic of Tater. She's doing one of the things that she dearly loves... playing in the snow. "California snow this time"

Hey Denise,
Thanks for the kind words! As I was posting this pic, I was hoping that you'd see it! Thanks for keeping up with the Tater...
Yeah,
It's been way too long Tom!
I was looking on the thread pages last night, and, I know I've been gone with no time to participate, but there's a lot of regulars that I didn't see any signs of. Were you too rough on em' while I was out-of-pocket?
Nah. You know me....old laid-back Tom. I might have cracked the whip on a rare occasion, but nothing serious.:D Gary disappeared for a while but he's back a little more now; Liz has pretty much limited herself to Street / PJ; Michael keeps a low profile, to say the least; Craig peeks over the hill every now and then, but not nearly enough; Lauren and Mary still grace us on a regular basis; Lee was gone for a long time, but has come back a little bit lately ( shooting food, I'm afraid he may eat himself to death ); Don and Walter still got some life in them and keep us jumping; and Richard, with his official duties, couldn't leave even he wated to.
Just like with yourself, things come along that drag folk off in a different direction for a spell. I seriously hope that you'll be around for quite a bit this time around.
Say 'hi' to Teresa,
Tom
Cheers,
Lauren

Tater's been enjoying romping around the country, but I've had my nose to the grind stone too much lately :cry - This working stuff, <sheez> who knew <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/ne_nau.gif" border="0" alt="" >rofl

Here's where the Tater's been this past year:
TX, NM, CO, WY, MT, AB (CANADA), BC (CANADA), VANCOUVER ISLAND, WA, ID, WY, SD, MN, IA, MO, KS, OK, TX, NM, AZ, UT, NV, CA, NV, UT, CO, TX, NM, AZ, CA, AZ, NM, TX
I'd say she's well traveled for only being 1 1/2 years old
I'll have to say, it's a bit painful to be in so much great country with only limited (if any at all) chances to take pics.

Boy there's just something about those cute little "mop dogs"... full of fun and eager to please. I do believe Tater has covered more territory in her young life than I have in 70 years!

Hey Mr. Jack, how the heck are ya'?
We are so lucky to have found her at a rescue shelter, she is just as you've described. Yep, she's very well traveled!
She's full of life wanting to explore everything as any dog would, but when she gets into the vehicle, she immediately turns the calm switch on.
Thanks for looking in on us Jack
Hey Moose,
Playing in the snow is one of her favorite things in life. She loves to be a hot-rod, peeling out in the snow and performing power slides in the corners . She does the same thing in sand (sand dunes and at the beach), but she hasn't quite learned not to eat the sand the way she does snow rofl
