I was reading Scott Kelby's blog and he shot a NHL game last night in Tampa, FL for the first time ever and he talked about his experience, including the amazing lighting in the arena which allowed him to shoot at 2.8, ISO 400-640, and up to 1/2000. That's absolutely amazing. Here I shoot my kids teams at 1/500, 2.8, 3200 to get decent exposures and that's only in some of the rinks; others are so dark I'll have to wait for when I get my hands on a 1DX.
