it was so nice today - sunny and upper 50's - that i just had to get out with the camera! ;D anyway, this is North Fork Falls, along the upper reaches of Coal Creek, just a few miles from home... 5D, 17-35 @ 20mm, 1 sec @ f/11 with a polarizer...

I like the second one, great colours and light. Lucky you to have this spot only a few miles from home!!!

Thank you so much for sharing these gorgeous falls.

Your lucky to have such nature on your doorstep! I'm gonna go with number 2 also, it has more depth for the eye to travel into and the water flowing towards is more aesthetic than the first. I would try and darken that bright sunlit spot to the left of the waterfalls a bit and soften the contrast in it. It's kind of a bit dominating and when the eye jumps to it there's nothing there. I wouldn't actually remove it from the scene because it acts as a return for the eye before it goes back to the flowing foreground water, but maybe just tone it down a tad so it's not so powerful.

Really nice compositions Rocky, I like the contrast of the orange/red and greens.

Very nice, Rocky! The first one looks a bit tilted, although it's hard to tell exactly. Colors and processing look great in these.
