There's some interesting stuff here--the repetition of the lamps, gold and Chase--but in the end, this doesn't grab me.
BTW, in Madrid, there are a bunch of We Buy Gold businesses, and all of them have at least half a dozen people out front wearing sandwich boards and trying to drum up business. We all assume that they're money laundering fronts, as there's no way they can be making money otherwise. I'd be curious whether it's the same in SF.
Thanks, Richard. You are spot on in your assessment, because I felt the same about the shot (but wanted to post a WTF shot, anyway). I waited for the car in the bottom, but it did not come through enough to help the shot.
This "We Buy" store is recent (months?), paralleling the rise of the price of gold. It has always looked empty when I have passed it.
