Boiled Peanuts!

Love these things! Driving home from the store I thought these would be a good reason to buy foam board and try a product shot. I used a soft box and a birthday card standing on its end to get just a bit of fill from the left. Enjoy!

    The color and hue don't make it very appetizing... might wanna lighten them up a bit and get some vibrance out of them

    I've lived in the south for over 35 years, but have never acquired a liking for two Southern
    favorites: okra and boiled peanuts. Ugh. Gitzo's color is right, though. That's exactly what
    boiled peanuts look like.

    Never knew anyone ever tried to boil peanuts... Never liked okra though.

    If you have ever tasted a garbanza bean (chick pea) that is similar to what a boiled peanut tastes like. Okra, well, I won't even try to describe that taste though the texture of stewed okra is akin to the slime around raw oysters... :)
