Anhinga with a Bass

While at the Viera Wetlands this afternoon, I witnessed an Anhinga capture a Bass........

    Wow, Ira! What a great job you did of capturing the moment! It is hard to imagine that the Anhinga thought it had a chance to swallow that large fish, but apparently so! Best, Pam

    Actually Pam, he swallowed that bass with no problem at all, and did it in record time.

    Nice work Ira, its greta when they catch the big fish because they usually come on shore to eat them allowing one to get some striking close-ups.
