thanks everyone. Trying to do better with my images. about a month ago I sure caught a lot of hell on here, but after reading, seeing what others were doing, and learning lighting, the seem to be coming out a little better.

This i-robots from the will smith movie, just started using circles and the bevel tools to make it all, the arm pits are sewerpipe, and the cutouts in the arm are pistons.

I like what you are doing, but I wouldn't cut off the image at the elbows. What's the point?
