Trouble With Newly Installed Contact Link

Hi There,

Spent a good part of the weekend trying to understand and figure out how to add a Contact Link to my website with the aid of the info on this thread: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=180288

Pleased to say I finally got it up, but now that it's up it doesn't seem to be working :scratch

To give it a test I've tried several times by logging out of my account (which seems to make sense!) then viewing my site from the 'outside' and clicking on the Contact Link I type in an alternative email address, a subject header, as well as some text in the appropriate field, but each time this darn message comes up:

"We're awfully sorry, but there was a problem. Please try again."

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

When I click the contact link in your footer it takes me to a smug help page. That implies that the email address for the contact isn't set up yet. Go to the Pros tab in your control panel and make sure that you have a customer contact email address set up.

Seems to be working now, you must've validated your contact email
