Can't find anything about this on by searching so I thought I ask here.

In my smug gallery I have a bunch of image I put there to link to my blog blogs.

The current post I'm doing has a series of black and white images and also some image (one file) containing black and white and colour images.

I'm finding that some images are showing true black and white and others have a slight sepia tine to them. This is so noticeable when they are side by side. I decided to try converting the black and whites using the "Apply colour effect" tool and now they look different again.

I noticed that the thumbs look correct but some of the sizes are off, but not all.

Anyway of fixing this across the board? Its making my blog posts look horrible.

    Hiya Lara,

Could you email us at the help desk with links to the images in your gallery? Could you also let us know what was done to process the images originally to make them black and white? We'll take a look, but we need more specifics. :)

    Take care,

I've seen variations in the Black and White and Sepia conversions over the years. If you need a level of black and white or sepia to a certain spec, best to do the conversion locally and upload resulting the image. thumb.gif
