    Hey Rags,

You probably mean Dale Chihuly. Over the years, he has produced some astounding glass works. For quite some time, though, due to health reasons, his studio works are done by his associates and students. His role has become one more like a " director " of their efforts.

    BTW, nice shot.

His visions start off with a painting that he creates by just splashing paint on a canvas .

There was an exhibit of Chihuly glass at a museum here. While I took my camera, I didn't
take any photographs. I just didn't feel I could capture the look and be even close to the
magnificence of the actual creations. I don't blame you for trying, though.

I love his stuff. He showed at the MFA in Boston.

This is a typical shot of one of his arrangements. thumb.gif It can be hard, as Tony says, to do justice to his work. I'm just glad he allows photographing his work!

I have images from the MFA show here.
