Wide Angle Lens Advice

I'm currently shooting with my Canon 60D and need to add a wide angle lens. Telephoto and super telephoto are covered. Not looking for anything too extreme like a fish eye. I do shoot quite a bit in low light conditions so I am leaning towards 2.8 to cover that. I also want to stay under 1000.00 USD. Canon, Sigma or Tamron. I'm open for suggestions, thanks in advance.

I think this is still a fairly complete listing:

    Canon EF-S 10-22mm, f3.5-4.5 USM
    Sigma 8-16mm, f4.5-5.6 DC HSM
Sigma 10-20mm, f3.5 EX DC HSM
Sigma 10-20mm, f4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Tamron 11-18mm, f4.5-5.6 XR DI-II LD Aspherical (IF)
    Tamron 10-24mm, f3.5-4.5 DI-II LD Aspherical (IF)
Tokina 11-16mm, f2.8 ATX Pro DX
    Tokina 12-24mm, f4 PRO DX/DX II

I have the Sigma 10-20mm, f4-5.6 EX DC HSM and I'm very happy with it. I use it for vista landscapes and architectural photography.

If I ever do replace it, the first lens I'll look at is the Tokina 11-16mm, f2.8 ATX Pro DX, mostly because it works fairly well on Canon crop 1.3x and FF bodies (although not so much as a zoom on those bodies).

Second for the tokina 11-16. I use it a lot with my D90 and absolutely love it.

I rented the "Tokina 11-16mm, f2.8 ATX Pro DX" and really liked it but not as much as the Canon EF 16-35mm /f2.8L II USM. I bought mine used and got a good deal on it. It is the best wide angle lens I've used since I gave my daughter my EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM, which is another good choice but like the 16-35 a little pricey.

The Tokina 11-16 2.8 is on the way. I wish the Canon 2.8 was in my budget, but sadly, it is not clap.gif
    Thanks all for the advice.

I'm not sure what Canon has available as I shoot Nikon but I use a 12-24mm f4 lens and it is wonderful. Takes sharp images brings in the light needed for my landscapes. I'm sure that Canon has an equivalent.
