Hey fellow d-grinners! I am relatively new to the site but i have a client who is wearing a kimono style dress. If anyone has any pointers or examples of those type of shots that would be greatly appreciated!

No... but I think a Vietnamese Ao Dai is almost similar in terms of being colorful and lots of fun details on the dress.

Ok, do you have any examples of shots of the dresses?

I think if you peruse through the entries from my studio's blog, you'll eventually find a whole bunch of images along those lines, at least as far as bright colors and various Asian cultures are concerned. They are all rich with color and the only advice I can give is to take LOTS of photos of the details, but at the same time don't let them distract you from the people. :-)
