Nice work, Pard. I tell you, any outside temperature above 55 degrees and I'm in that water. I do the annual Polar Bear Jump up in Blowing Rock . If I can survive that, I can handle this water.

    Say hi to everyone,

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hi Randy,

I recognized your picture #4. I have a shot in a family album from the 1960's of the natural bridge formation in the background behind my sisters and I. At that time there was a man made wooden bridge that spanned the chasm. Could you tell me where this is located?

Edit: nevermind.... found it - Yoho National Park Natural Bridge. Your beautiful shots jogged that one from a dim memory.

    Thanks Rags!

In person, that water color is just mesmerizing. The glacial rivers and lakes blew me away in the Canadian Rockies.

Didn't you not too long ago, post something to the point of ME being a bit crazy eek7.gifne_nau.gifrolleyes1.gif

Tell you what; let's make it a point before we kick the bucket, to meet up there, and you do your plunge/swimming in this glacial river. Oh, and don't pay much attention to that crunching/munching when you get sucked through that hydraulic. rolleyes1.gif

Got to run Tom, getting my camera ready now...

    Hey Newsy,

Glad I could bring back some memories for ya'. Yes, you are correct in the location. It's hard to remember exactly which of the (7) joined parks I was in for which images. The Canadian Rockies, what a magical place on this earth! I can't wait to get back up there...

Good-looking water, Randy--both the shot and the place! Nice that you included your family in the shot so we know they really were traveling with you. :D You've made me want to visit Banff for sure.
