Very otherworldly and the title just makes it weirder! Hope that was your intention:D

Very much my intention. I relish the strangeness and alien qualities of the Mojave Desert, doing my best to express the feeling I get visiting and exploring the region.

Near this area (within 20 miles each direction) there are thousands of petroglyphs and pictographs from ancient and unrecorded peoples. In these designs there are numerous figures depicting what may be deciphered as fertility designs. This cave, with nothing growing inside, not even liechen at the least, has no markings, no charms or etchings pecked into the walls. It reminded me of a dry womb, incapable of bringing forth life--unworthy of prayer.
