North Texas Winter Flock?

These are a couple shots of our North Texas Winter Flock of Birds. Any suggestions about what they are? They generally look to be the same. Maybe also a suggestion on a good identification resource book. Thanks for your comments.

Looks like a Northern Mockingbird. #2 is my favorite, I like the lighting, Nice capture

If you want a good bird guide I would go with the National Wildlife Federation Field Guide to Birds of North America. I monitor endangered species of birds in the summer and it is always in my backpack.

I will second this -sounds like a lot of birds but is a mocking bird
