Newbie to Smugmug question

I am in the process of uploading photos to my smugmug.

I have watched a particular album that contains both photos & videos take an age to upload ( UK slow upload), however with other galleries I have seen the folder on my smugmug page without all the photos in it, however with this gallery there is nothing on smugmug.

Is it possible that i won't see anything until the full upload has completed?

    I would have thought I would have seen the gallery with it being populated as pictures are uploaded.

    Check your upload log (control panel, stats tab):

    looks like there was a problem. Check the gallery, and make sure it's alive, and reupload. Thanks.

    I have no idea why none of those images were uploading. Any idea?

    I have created a new gallery and I am trying to upload straight from iphoto. I was using Macdaddy before.

    Any suggestions as to what method is best on a mac?

    Edit....iphoto plugin gave error after uploading only 2 files.....

    Hi,

    Here's what I notice. YOu were originally uploading from MacDaddy. Most of your errors show that you are uploading to an invalid album. This leads me to believe that you are trying to upload to an album that you have deleted from your SmugMug site.

    What you may want to do is select a different album in MacDaddy to upload to, and see if the images show up. The uploads that I see from using the HTML5 uploader, passed, as they went to a valid album.

    Which gallery are you trying to upload to when you're getting the errors? We can see if that is one of the deleted galleries from your site :)

    I think I have sussed my main problem.

    When i try to upload .mov files taken on my iphone they fail, irrespective of which method I use to upload them. Other movie files taken on other cameras upload without issue.


    Is this a known issue?

    What orientation are the iPhone videos taken in that fail?
    Can you try uploading the videos in question with our SmugShot app directly from the iPhone?
