I really love this shot of my wife. I was bored and decided to reprocess it. Here are three version of the photo I ended up with:

Full Color:

Slightly Desaturated:

That is just such a perfect high key pin up type picture. Makes me want to join the Army again!

The first one is most pleasing to me.

I think the 3rd one gives her proper treatment , the red shoes are to much of a distraction IMO.

    I think 1 is perfect... Love your finish... It's a perfect pin-up ...

... I also think it's great fun to read which version & why people like it.

I like the pin-up feel of #1 the best too. Love the red shoes and lipstick.

I like 2 best...of course they all look great. You have this technique down so well.

Thanks guys. #1 is also my favorite. I don't think the split tone or even B&W yields the feel I want from this photo. I do like the slight desaturation of #2 though. headscratch.gif

Little secret... I added the red lipstick in post. My wife thinks red lipstick is a bit too garish, at least for her, so she doesn't own any.

#1 is The Masterpiece , nothing else can compare... the RED patent leather shoes just jump right off the page demanding attention, then the also shiny red lips echo the statement the shoes started. The red shoes could only be worn be someone on a pedestal , in the other colors they become more tame, could be worn by a Mom even.

I like the second and third the best as the shoes are a little bright, but also the outfit fits a more vintage style coloring. I probably edge #2 in over #3 as I like the bit of color.
