I like #1, although the pipe shots (especially #4) are a bit unique.

I think #4 speaks the theme the best. It's an interesting shot in its own right, regardless of the challenge topic. I'd be interested in seeing what it looks like with a bit more contrast.

My fave is #4 because I love the soft focus. GP

I like #1 and #3 the best. If you decide to go with #1, you might play with cropping a smidgin from the top and see how that looks.

    Good luck with it!

Thanks for all of the comments! I tried a bit of re-processing and cropping. So tell me what you think.

My preference is something between 1c and 1d. Your crop was more extreme than I was envisioning. The structure on the left has a little V at the top of the right support. I thought it might look better to trim that out while still leaving plenty of space above the first pair of upside down Vs (so to speak). My sense is that the image loses too much with a tight crop. I like the BW treatment. Hope that is helpful!

I would also choose either 1C or 1D. I like the black & white in that shot (funny...I'm usually such a color person). I like the idea of the tunnels since that is unique, but this particular shot doesn't work for me. It just needs something. headscratch.gif

Really like your #1 shot though.

Thanks for all of the help, everyone! I entered a slight crop of 1b as Gretchen suggested. I hadn't noticed that triangle.
