    Thanks Andy, I'm a bit of a slacker...this is probably the first time in years that I have gotten up early for a sunrise and the first time I have gotten decent shots...and I think I'm addicted icon10.gif

    Just need to get a grad ND filter...and I'm set.

    I love them, especially the first one. Could you explain what the filter does? How does it add to these shots? Love the wide angle.clap.gif

    Hi Snapapple,

    This filter cuts down the light by 64 times, allowing longer exposures for given aperture setting.

    For example, for a given aperture setting, it can reduce the shutter speed from 1/60 sec to 1 sec to achieve the same exposure.

    It's great for photos with water, as the can achieve that glass smooth look that you couldn't get with a short exposure.
