re Video play back and closing playback window

Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody can help me.
I have a video in a gallery and currently the video will play till the end and then the window just remains. Its up to the viewer to then click the close tab to close the window and return to the gallery.
I'm hoping that there is a way to have it return to the gallery, after the video has ended.
Any recommendations or advice would be great.

I am not web dev, and have only limited knowledge.
I'm assuming the player is flash ? would it be possible to write some script into the flash player ?
