I was feeding my dog on our backyard when i saw this and i told my wife in an instant that i need to go out and take some shots on a beautiful late afternoon sky. this one is very late, i barely made it. Originally i planned on using my Medium Format camera but never had the luxury of time so i just grab my Canon and just barely made it in a nick of time. :heh

You certainly caught a beautiful sky.thumb.gif

All the black at the bottom doesn't really serve much purpose. I elected to crop the shot from the bottom, up enough to eliminate any and all visible lights in the background. Having done so, the shot now looks like a pano layout. To me, it looks a lot better this way....purely a personal choice.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Wonderful colors indeed. I would agree that it might look better with some of the black chopped off the bottom. By the way Doug, I just saw your piece in Landscape Photography Magazine Issue 6(I'm working my way through the back catalogue)! When I read it I knew I recognized the name! Nice writing and your two pics were awesome as well.
