I took these at midday on my trip to scout out the area, bad light wrong time of day.
I plan to go back in the spring under better conditions.

To me, this screams black and white. Would be very interested in seeing that. Interesting scene for sure.

I tried the black and white, without any drama in the sky just didn't make much difference. I had no clouds.

Harsh light is a bear, I know what you mean though. Love midday black and white when there are some nice dramatic clouds.
