Jag35 EFF Issues?
Anybody else using and/or having trouble with the Jag35 Electronic Follow Focus system?

Mine has a short in the controller and therefore is producing very jerky focus pulls. It never has worked quite right, but seems to be getting worse. I just contacted the company to see about replacing/repairing the unit/board, but I was curious if this was still going to be an ongoing problem. From what I can find online, this doesn't appear to be a common problem... I'm hoping.

Anyway... if anyone's interested, I contacted Jag35 about the issue and they sent me a replacement free of charge without any question. -GREAT customer service! The new one functions flawlessly, so I'm very pleased. Now that I know how it's supposed to work, I know the old one never worked correctly. I think I just had bad luck the first time around.
