40 year old faded portrait restored.

First time trying to get color back(skin tones are tough!), I usually just convert to black and white or its black white already. Fixed a couple nicks and imperfections as well, nothing major though(probably the only thing you could notice is the gash over his head)

    Thanks guys! I'M Really happy with how it came out. I used a combination of CS5 and LR3 to do it.

    well done..my only nit is the face. I see some greyish/dirtyish patches around the hairline. I see it in the original as well but it is more pronounced in the processed image.

    Im pretty sure, that's mostly what got pulled out when I started mixing the channels, I'll ask the my client after I frame and deliver this weekend.

    Above his ear the darker area, or the hair clumps on his forehead?
