Gellin' With Cindy
At the risk of boring y'all by posting so often, I am compelled to show another set from Sundays' shoot with the amazing Cindy.
Since I'm now SOO expert at speedlights in the studio :rofl I decided to play around with my new gels a bit. We had already decided to do this veiled set but, just to see what would happen, I put blue and red gels on my two 430EXs and aimed them at the BKG from each side behind Cindy. GEE who knew that red and blue make pink?:dunno
The key light Softlighter was just to camera left and I played around with the power settings to go lighter or darker.

My objective in this set was to try something different both in concept and lighting.
The idea was to introduce a bit of mystery by having Cindy under the sheer material and lighting her just enough to not be in full silouhuette, but to focus more on her body shapes. It was also the first time I've played with gels and lighting the BKG in colors.
In all honesty, I think this is something people will either love or absolutely despise.
Feel free to comment on the concept, the colors or not at all. I won't be offended by any of the choices.

I'm also noticing in the series that these are all full body. Not that fully body is bad, but I'd love to see an occasional close up or something. That is especially true for screened material shots like this. For example, in 3 I want to see a close up of her arms and face (her upper torso). Just my opinion.
Overall this looks like a great series. Looks like you had fun.

Thanks for the trip back in time to one of the favorite TV shows of my youth. Goldie has NOTHING on her!
At least, that's what the image said to me:D
