If you're interested in Lightroom 4, it's cheaper to buy the current version on sale now, and then get the LR 4 upgrade when it is released.

The MSRP for LR 3 is $299, and I wouldn't expect that to change for version 4. However, so far the upgrades from an older version of LR to the newest version have been $99. So $90 + $99 (=$189) is still less than $299 if you wait for LR 4 straight up (unless something dramatic happens with their licensing policy). A similar thread was started a few weeks ago.
