Okay - great news RE Awesomize for iPhone. How's about throwing something out there for us lowly droid users?:D

PS - how's that Google+/SmugMug integration coming along?

    My GOD!! I just downloaded this app 10 minutes ago...it blows every other camera app out of the water, I mean, nothing is even close, especially with the the burst mode! And native smugmug upload support...unreal!

    Is this SmugMug's new iOS app that they've been hinting at for months, or is there *another* new or updated iPhone/iPad gallery app coming that's more meant for (casual/professional) displaying of our SmugMug galleries??

    It's interesting that Awesomize is using its own app name and seems to minimize the SmugMug branding (and other services such as FB, Twitter, YouTube, etc seem to get prominent placement in the advertising in lieu of SmugMug itself)? Is SmugMug perhaps branching out to consumer imaging app tools without diluting the professional SmugMug brand?

    Lastly, the iPad 3 announcement on March 7th will hopefully include news of a better camera than on the iPad 2. Does SmugMug plan to expand Awesomize into a universal iOS app for optimal use on the iPad as well?

    Hi Sara, We’re working on Android. Promise. But it’s *very* hard. There’s a ton of different hardware, and then Google/Android give us pretty insane memory limitations. We’re working through all the issues, but it will still be awhile.

    Turns out there’s a good reason why there aren’t any great camera apps on Android yet. They make it nearly impossible.

    No, Camera Awesome is a completely new camera and sharing app for iPhones - it replaces our old SmugShot App.

    We have a passion for photography and sharing - so we created the camera you never knew you always wanted, the camera we always dreamed of – a camera fit for the iPhone.

    I love that I can share with Facebook, but I would like to be able to choose when to save it. Everytime I take a pic or edit one, it immediately posts it to Facebook.

    Check your share settings. Is Facebook 1 tap share set up? If you need help, you can write the heroes on the help desk.
