I went away to Yosemite this past weekend for the first time. Unbelievable lighting to say the least! Here were my best attempts to capture the mood. Tell me what you think.

    Abeselom,

Truly beautiful pictures of Yosemite - I think your photographic skills are well up to par to capture your visualization of the scene (as you mentioned in your smugmug bio). Very nice use of the light, especially in the b&w's.

    Cheers,
    Kevin K.

Very nice. I see that that snow is predicted this weekend. Might have to
    head up there.

    Great pictures!

That hike up to Dog Lake is something else isn't it? I've done that several times with a full backpack heading to Young Lakes. Beautiful area!

Next time, I will have to continue to Young Lakes, although it is a 12 mile round trip. I checked out your site - keep the good work! I am continually inspired by fellow outdoor/landscape photographers and look forward to future trips.

Thanks to all who left comments. I think this is a great forum and am thrilled to be a part of it.

What did you use for the ripple shot? ND filter? Looks amazing, that's my favorite, the color is stunning.
    Well shot
