first insect, C&C please

i found this guy in our house earlier!
My equipment so far:
Canon EOS 500D
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II Lens
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens

    Not bad but at F32 you will be getting a lot of diffraction softening. Depends on taste but i would lose some DOF and gain some sharpness by shooting around F11 at 1:1 magnification.

    agree with Brian, try f8 -f14 for sharpest images

    I don't think I've ever seen a spider like that... it almost looks like he's on his back.

    thanks for your help guys, i think it's amazing how much of the world we can't see with our eyes, had no idea there was so much detail on a spider. i LOVE Macro :-)
